As Samsung and HTC are working on getting the latest version of Android to their 2013 (and older) flagship devices, LG has kept its update schedule somewhat quiet. LG Saudi Arabia appears to have jumped the gun with a tweet, that’s now deleted, suggesting that LG G2 devices in that area would start receiving the update at the end of the month. LG released another tweet apologizing for the previous tweet:
It wouldn’t be the first time that a company released information regarding an update before they wanted to. While LG has promised the KitKat update by the end of quarter one, they still have two and a half months to do so. We may see it released at the end of the month, we may not.
